Kendall Jenner reveals lifelong struggle with anxiety
Model Kendall Jenner has revealed that she has struggled with anxiety since the age of seven. In an interview with Vogue, Jenner described experiencing shortness of breath and fear as a child, which led to medical examinations that initially found no physical issues. She later realized these sensations were related to anxiety, which eventually developed into panic attacks.
Anxiety disorders are a widespread global mental health issue. According to the World Health Organization, approximately 359 million people worldwide were living with anxiety disorders in 2021, making it the most common group of mental disorders. Medical experts note that symptoms can emerge in childhood or adolescence and persist into adulthood if not properly identified and treated. Unlike normal situational stress, anxiety disorders are characterized by excessive, persistent, and uncontrollable fear or tension that interferes with daily life, work, and relationships.
