Kendrick Bourne to miss remainder of season with Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a fractured tibia during a Week 8 game against the Dallas Cowboys. While initial reports indicated an ankle injury, ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirmed the fracture does not require surgery but will sideline the 31-year-old veteran for approximately three months.

Bourne, who signed a two-year, $10 million contract with the Cardinals in the offseason, had been serving as a key part-time starter and slot receiver. His absence leaves a significant void in the Cardinals' passing attack, especially following the trade of Marvin Harrison Jr. and the placement of Jalen Brooks on injured reserve. The team may seek additional wide receiver help ahead of the NFL trade deadline on November 10.
