Kendrick Lamar meets young fan in Los Angeles

Rapper Kendrick Lamar recently fulfilled a promise to meet Romell Frazier Jr., a seven-year-old fan from Detroit, in Los Angeles. The young boy lost both of his arms following an attack by two pit bulls in March.

After Romell expressed his wish to meet the artist during a news interview, Lamar contacted him via FaceTime on his seventh birthday, July 31. During that call, the rapper praised Romell’s resilience and invited the family to visit Los Angeles.

The family recently completed the trip, where Romell met Lamar in person. Romell’s mother, Preshauna Jones, had previously noted the significant challenges the family faced as Romell adjusted to life after the attack and relearned daily routines.
