Kendrick Lamar sets record for highest-grossing rap tour

Kendrick Lamar has reportedly achieved the highest-grossing touring year by a rapper in history. According to data from ChartData, his Grand National Tour, which featured SZA as a co-headliner, grossed approximately $390.7 million. The tour spanned 47 shows and sold over 2.037 million tickets.

This achievement surpasses the previous record held by Drake’s 2023-2024 ‘It’s All a Blur Tour,’ which earned $320.5 million from 1.3 million tickets sold across 80 shows. Punch, representing Top Dawg Entertainment, responded to the news on social media, emphasizing that both Lamar and SZA contributed significantly to the tour's success.

Lamar’s commercial success in 2025 extended beyond touring. His year included five Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for ‘Not Like Us,’ and a headline performance at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show.
