Kendrik Nan nears return to Panathinaikos following knee surgery

Panathinaikos guard Kendrik Nan is nearing a return to the court following surgery on his right knee meniscus. While Nan has begun individual training at the OAKA Arena in Athens, head coach Zeljko Obradovic confirmed that the American guard will not participate in the upcoming Friday game against Hapoel Tel Aviv. Potential return dates are estimated for the matches against Peristeri on October 18 or Baskonia shortly after.

During his recovery, Nan shared his EuroLeague season projections via the club’s TikTok profile. He predicted Panathinaikos would finish in first place, followed by Real Madrid and Olympiacos. Regarding Serbian teams, Nan projected Crvena Zvezda to finish eighth, securing a playoff position, while placing Partizan in 14th, outside of the playoff contention.
