Kenelephant to release Pan Dorobou Onigiri Boy piggy bank

Art goods manufacturer Kenelephant has announced the second installment of its piggy bank series based on the popular KADOKAWA picture book series ‘Pan Dorobou’ by Keiko Shibata. The new product, titled ‘Pan Dorobou Chokinbako Onigiri Boy ver.’, features the character Onigiri Boy from the fourth book in the series.

The piggy bank is designed to look like the character sitting down, with a unique aesthetic where it appears as a character from the front and a large rice ball from the back. It is priced at 3,300 yen (including tax) and is made of PVC and ABS materials.

Pre-orders began on October 22, 2026, via the KENELE STORE online shop. The official release and general sales are scheduled for April 2027.
