KenGen to host international clean energy conference in Olkaria

The Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) will host the third KenGen Sustainable Energy Conference from November 24 to 27 in Olkaria, Naivasha. The event, themed ‘Powering Africa’s Green Industrial Revolution,’ aims to address the financing and partnership challenges necessary to convert renewable resources into active industrial projects.

The conference is expected to draw over 1,500 participants from more than 80 countries, including 200 investors, 40 financing institutions, and 100 utilities and power producers. Discussions will focus on investment mobilization, project development, strategic partnerships, and carbon trading to support Africa's clean energy ambitions.
