Kengo Kora discusses personal changes following marriage and fatherhood

Japanese actor Kengo Kora discussed his changing mindset and personal life during an appearance on the Nippon TV variety program ‘Mesidora’ on October 16. Kora, who married talent Kanako Tahara in 2024 and recently became a father, noted that his approach to acting has evolved since becoming a parent.

Kora explained that the intense drive he felt as a single actor to adhere to certain professional standards has subsided, stating, ‘I think it is working in a positive way. It is easier now.’ He added that while he previously sought meaning or reasons behind everything, he no longer feels the need to overthink such matters. He expressed that he is currently enjoying his acting more than ever.
