Kengo Kuma-designed Café Cotton opens in Wakayama

Café Cotton, located in Wakayama City, offers a dining experience within a space designed and supervised by renowned architect Kengo Kuma. Situated on the first floor of the Park Biz WAKAYAMA business hub, the cafe features a modern interior with exposed concrete and distinctive stained glass that interacts with natural light.

The menu includes thick sandwiches filled with various vegetables, homemade sweets such as Basque cheesecake, and specialty beverages like black latte made with bamboo charcoal. The establishment also features an adjacent coworking space and offers a “night cafe” service on Friday evenings with an alcohol menu.
