Kenia López Rabadán concludes term as Chamber of Deputies President

Kenia López Rabadán has concluded her term as President of the Board of Directors of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies. Reflecting on her tenure, the National Action Party (PAN) deputy emphasized her commitment to institutionalism, respect, and plurality despite ideological differences among parliamentary groups.

López Rabadán stated that her leadership aimed to demonstrate that it is possible to preside over a plural body with institutional criteria. She noted that while she will return to her full role as a federal deputy and express partisan positions, she will continue to respect differing political views to avoid harmful polarization.

Following the established rotation scheme among political forces, the presidency of the Chamber is expected to pass to the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico (PVEM). Raúl Bolaños Cacho, the current Vice President of the Chamber, has been identified as a potential successor for the third year of the current legislature.
