Kenia OS draws 45,000 fans at Playa del Carmen concert

Pop star Kenia OS performed at the Recinto Ferial in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, to mark the municipality’s 33rd anniversary. More than 45,000 young fans filled the venue, creating one of the largest musical gatherings in recent years.

Before the show, a drone display lit the night sky with visual effects. Municipal president Estefanía Mercado welcomed the artist and attended the concert. The production featured large screens, lighting, and special effects while Kenia OS sang her biggest hits.

Local authorities estimate the event generated roughly 50 million Mexican pesos in economic activity, benefiting hotels, restaurants, transport services and other tourism‑related businesses. Attendees traveled from several Mexican states, reinforcing Playa del Carmen’s reputation as a major destination for large‑scale entertainment events.
