Kenichi Matsuyama to tour Yanmar and Tenma Kiriko on MBS ‘Gobu Gobu’

Actor Kenichi Matsuyama will appear as a guest on the MBS program ‘Gobu Gobu’ on October 3. During the episode, Matsuyama and host Masatoshi Hamada will participate in an ‘adult social study’ tour of various locations in the Kansai region.

Matsuyama, who is an avid farmer and has expressed ambitions to become a leading tomato producer in Japan, will visit the headquarters of Yanmar, a major agricultural machinery manufacturer. He will tour the design department and cafeteria, and witness demonstrations of high-performance machinery. Matsuyama also jokingly challenged Yanmar to assist him in his next goal of rice cultivation.

The tour will also include a visit to Tenma Kiriko in Tenma, where Matsuyama will explore the secrets of traditional cut glass craftsmanship and attempt a hands-on glass-cutting experience.
