Kennedy Fried Chicken opens in Wappingers Falls after seven-year delay

Kennedy Fried Chicken has officially opened its doors in the Village of Wappingers Falls, ending a seven-year wait for the establishment. Located on the corner of East Main and Market Streets, the restaurant occupies a building notable for a large American flag mural.

The project, which dates back to 2019, faced numerous delays and obstacles over the years. Although previous projections suggested an opening by October 2025, the restaurant did not begin operations until well after that timeframe. The menu includes fried chicken, wings, burgers, and gyros.
