Kennet Eichhorn returns to training at Bayer Leverkusen

Kennet Eichhorn, the 17-year-old player for Bayer Leverkusen, has returned to individual training following a three-month absence. The player had been receiving treatment for a metabolic disorder diagnosed this summer, which followed significant weight loss caused by a gastrointestinal illness.

Eichhorn previously underwent inpatient clinical treatment. While he has begun individual sessions at the BayArena, Bayer Leverkusen's Managing Director of Sport, Simon Rolfes, stated that there is currently no specific timeline for his return to full team training. The club noted they will support his recovery process step by step.
