Kenneth Copeland discusses ministry foundations and prosperity
In recent podcast episodes from Kenneth Copeland Ministries, 89-year-old founder Kenneth Copeland discussed the foundational principles of his ministry and his definition of prosperity.
Copeland credited his mentor, Oral Roberts, for providing three rules for success during their time working together in the 1960s: find the will of God, confer no longer with flesh and blood, and get the job done at all costs. He noted that he and his wife, Gloria, have applied these rules throughout their six decades of ministry.
Addressing the concept of prosperity, Copeland described it as “holistic prosperity,” which encompasses the mind, body, family, and finances rather than just monetary wealth. He defined the term as “advance or gain in anything good or desirable” and argued that financial resources are necessary for believers to fulfill their divine callings.
