Baskonia signs veteran center Kenneth Faried

Baskonia has officially announced the signing of American center Kenneth Faried for the 2026-27 season. The 36-year-old veteran joins the Spanish club to reinforce their frontcourt and interior presence.

Faried brings extensive professional experience to Vitoria-Gasteiz, having played over 450 games in the NBA, including seven seasons with the Denver Nuggets. His recent European tenure included a stint with Panathinaikos, where he was named the EuroLeague MVP for November after a strong performance that helped the team secure the Greek Cup.

In addition to his NBA career with teams like the Brooklyn Nets and Houston Rockets, Faried is a 2014 World Cup champion with the United States national team. His move to Baskonia marks his continued presence in elite European basketball following recent stints in Puerto Rico and various other international leagues.
