Kenneth Walker III misses Chiefs practice with ankle injury

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III has missed recent training camp practices due to an ankle injury. Head coach Andy Reid stated that the injury involves ankle swelling caused by a shoe issue.

Walker, the reigning Super Bowl MVP, signed a three-year, $43.05 million contract with the Chiefs this offseason after spending four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. While he was held out of practice, he was not observed wearing a boot or a brace.

The injury comes amid a series of ailments for the Chiefs during training camp, with several other players including Chamarri Conner, Ashton Gillotte, and quarterback Chris Oladokun also missing practice due to various injuries.
