Kenny Chesney rents stadiums for week-long tour rehearsals
Country music artist Kenny Chesney revealed that he rents out entire stadiums for a full week to rehearse for his upcoming tours. Speaking on the BobbyCast, Chesney explained that the scale of his productions involves too many moving parts to be effectively simulated in smaller rehearsal spaces.
Chesney noted that he intends to open his tour in Tampa next summer, where his crew will spend a week setting up equipment to ensure all technical elements are correct before the first performance. During downtime, the crew utilizes the facilities for legal activities such as playing flag football or watching televised events on the stadium's large screens.
