Kenny Chesney reveals connection to tour opener Greylan James

Country music star Kenny Chesney shared a personal connection with newcomer Greylan James, who is set to be his tour opener next summer. During an appearance on ‘Katie & Company’, Chesney revealed that the two have a long-standing link rooted in East Tennessee.

Chesney explained that when James was approximately six years old, his parents would bring him to a beauty shop where Chesney’s mother worked to have his hair cut. Chesney described the upcoming professional collaboration as a “spiritual kismet moment,” noting how unexpected and destined the connection feels.
