Kenny Chesney song inspired by ‘Ted Lasso’

Country music artist Kenny Chesney will release his upcoming album, ‘Silver Sands Marina’, on September 25. The album features the song ‘Goldfish’, which was inspired by the Apple TV series ‘Ted Lasso’.

Songwriter Tenille Townes reportedly drew inspiration for the track from the show’s advice to ‘be a goldfish’, a metaphor for having a short memory to move past mistakes or heartbreak. The new album will also include collaborations with Megan Moroney and Colbie Caillat.
