Kenny Moore II draws interest from Detroit Lions and other NFL teams

Veteran cornerback Kenny Moore II is drawing significant interest from several NFL teams, including the Detroit Lions, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. Moore, 31, has remained unsigned since being released by the Indianapolis Colts to create salary cap space.

During his tenure with the Colts, the former Pro Bowler recorded 88 pass breakups and 21 interceptions over 132 games. In his final season with Indianapolis, Moore appeared in 14 games with seven starts, recording 55 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and one interception returned for a touchdown. Pro Football Focus ranked him as the 37th-best cornerback in the league.

The Lions are reportedly looking to bolster a secondary that has struggled recently, having surrendered 71 points over the first two weeks of the season. The team's defensive struggles have been compounded by safeties Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph starting the season on the reserve/PUP list.
