Kenny Omega challenges Yota Tsuji at NJPW King of Pro Wrestling

At the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) King of Pro Wrestling event, Yota Tsuji successfully defended the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Ryohei Oiwa in a match lasting over 35 minutes. Following the bout, AEW star Kenny Omega made a surprise appearance, attacking both Tsuji and Boltin Oleg.

Omega issued a challenge for a three-way match at the upcoming Power Struggle event in Hiroshima. He stipulated that a victory in this match would grant him a future shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

In subsequent comments to Tokyo Sports, Omega criticized Tsuji, claiming the champion lacks experience and is “scared of failing on the world stage.” Tsuji responded to Omega’s initial video challenge by stating he would only defend the title within Japan.
