Kenric Nan undergoes knee surgery, to miss several weeks
Panathinaikos AKTOR player Kenric Nan has undergone successful arthroscopic partial meniscectomy surgery in the United States following a torn medial meniscus. The injury occurred during individual training.
Nan is expected to be sidelined for approximately six to eight weeks. His recovery timeline suggests a potential return window between early October and October 19. Consequently, he will miss the team's preseason preparations, friendly matches, the Super Cup, and the opening games of the Euroleague and the Stoiximan GBL.
Specific Euroleague matchups he is expected to miss include games against Paris, ASVEL Villeurbanne, and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Coach Zeljko Obradovic will need to adjust his rotation to cover the void left by the star guard during the start of the new season.
