Kenshi Yonezu teams with Bandai for Kaiju Zukan food‑toy and Mini CD gashapon releases

Japanese singer‑songwriter Kenshi Yonezu is collaborating with toy maker Bandai on two new merchandise lines. The "Kaiju Zukan Card Wafer" food‑toy, featuring a card and wafer pair for each of 22 imaginary monsters from Yonezu’s illustrated book, will be released on August 10. Each card displays the monster’s artwork and a short story written by Yonezu.

A second line, the "Mini CD Collection" gashapon, will appear in Bandai vending machines from the fifth week of August. The capsule set includes eleven miniature CD‑style key‑chains—ten reproductions of Yonezu’s popular songs such as "Lemon" and "IRIS OUT" and one secret edition—each housed in a removable disc case with a booklet and the original jacket art drawn by the artist.
