Kentaro Sakaguchi and Lee Joon-gi to star in ‘kiDnap GAME’

The new drama series ‘kiDnap GAME’ is set to premiere on October 6, featuring a collaborative production between Japan, South Korea, and Hong Kong. The series follows a sensational simultaneous kidnapping event occurring across seven Asian cities, including Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, and Naha.

Lead actors Kentaro Sakaguchi and Lee Joon-gi portray individuals forced into a high-stakes game to save their kidnapped loved ones. Sakaguchi plays a Japanese detective searching for his wife, while Lee plays a genius surgeon attempting to rescue his daughter. The plot centers on a mysterious game where participants must complete specific instructions to ensure only one person is saved.

A world premiere event is scheduled for October 2, featuring a cast of stars from across Asia, including Alice Ko, Stanley Yau, and Carrie Wong. The production is slated for simultaneous broadcast and streaming in 18 countries and regions.
