Kentuck Festival brings global art recognition to West Alabama

The Kentuck Festival, an annual event held in Tuscaloosa and West Alabama, has grown into a globally recognized celebration of art and culture. The festival is known for its highly competitive application process, with more artists rejected than accepted each year.

Beyond the main event, the Kentuck Art Center operates year-round, offering various activities including art classes in mediums such as clay and stained glass, as well as spoken word performances. The upcoming festival is scheduled for October 17th and 18th at Snow Hinton Park. This year’s lineup includes a featured artist from the University of Alabama faculty. The event also offers VIP experiences hosted by Southern Ale House.
