Kentucky Basketball pursues top 2027 recruits Nasir Anderson and AJ Williams

The University of Kentucky basketball program, led by Mark Pope, is actively recruiting high-profile prospects for the 2027 class.

Five-star point guard Nasir Anderson has scheduled an official visit to Kentucky for October 5. Anderson, a 6-foot-3 prospect ranked No. 9 nationally by the 247 Sports Composite, has also scheduled visits with several other programs, including USC, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Additionally, Kentucky has extended an offer to top-five wing prospect AJ Williams. Williams, a 6-foot-7 player, is entering the final stages of his recruitment. While BYU is currently considered the frontrunner for his commitment, other programs involved in his recruitment include Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, North Carolina, Georgia, and Duke.
