Kentucky Wildcats face South Carolina Gamecocks in SEC matchup

The Kentucky Wildcats are scheduled to face the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia. Kentucky enters the matchup looking to maintain a strong start to their 2026 season and break a four-game losing streak in this specific series, which dates back to 2021.

Kentucky's Will Stein leads a team currently at a 3-1 record, focusing on offensive momentum through the ground game. However, the Wildcats will be playing without key players Alex Afari, DJ Miller, and Tavion Wallace. South Carolina, led by Shane Beamer, views this as a critical game to stabilize their season, though they will be missing star defensive lineman Dylan Stewart.
