Kenya police investigate multiple deaths and suspected murders

Police in Kenya are investigating several deaths across multiple counties. In Nandi County, a 40-year-old man, Moses Oleparacho, drowned after slipping into the Kipsiwo River while fishing. Separately, the body of 23-year-old Doreen Jelagat was found floating in the Kimach River with visible injuries, prompting an investigation into the circumstances of her death.

In Kiambu County, authorities are treating the death of 31-year-old Dennis Njoroge Maina as a suspected murder after his body was found with a sisal rope around his neck in Kabete Sub-County. Investigators noted that the position of the body appeared inconsistent with the scene. Additionally, in Juja, police are investigating the murder of 33-year-old Susan Njoki Nyaga, who was found dead behind her home following an alleged robbery. Assailants reportedly stole household items valued at approximately Sh64,000.

Other reported incidents include the discovery of an 81-year-old man's body in Kilifi County and the discovery of a decomposing 60-year-old woman in a Napier grass farm in Kisii County.
