Kenya police investigate multiple deaths in Homa Bay, Machakos, and Migori

Police in Kenya are investigating several separate incidents involving deaths in Homa Bay, Machakos, and Migori counties.

In Homa Bay County, 47-year-old George Ogola Juma was found dead in a decomposed state inside his home in Guu Village. The body was discovered by a neighbor following a foul smell. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.

In Machakos County, a 30-year-old night watchman, Jackson Kioko Nyamai, was found dead in a store at Kivingoni Secondary School in Matuu. He was discovered by a colleague while on duty. A postmortem examination is expected to establish the circumstances of his death.

In Migori County, a 53-year-old woman, Florence Tono, died after an alleged assault in Rongo Sub-County. Two women were arrested following accusations that they confronted Tono over claims of witchcraft. Tono succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital.
