Kenya police investigate two separate fatal attacks

Police in Kenya have launched investigations into two separate fatal incidents. In Kwale County, 58-year-old Pauline Ushindi Mwanzara was killed after being attacked by unknown assailants near her home. She sustained deep cuts to her head and was found dead at the scene.

In Busia County, an 18-year-old man identified as Elias Owino Odhiambo died following a dispute at Marenga Beach. Authorities report that a disagreement over a bar of soap between Odhiambo and a 16-year-old suspect escalated into a fight. Odhiambo was allegedly struck on the head with a rungu. Although he received first aid at a clinic, he later succumbed to his injuries in his rented house. The suspect is currently in custody.
