Kenya Revenue Authority officers begin intelligence profiling training

The National Criminal Investigations Academy (NCIA) has launched a five-day Intelligence Profiling and Analytics Course specifically for officers from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). The program is designed to enhance the officers' ability to assess, interpret, and analyze information to support intelligence-led enforcement and informed decision-making.

During the opening ceremony, NCIA Commandant Ibrahim Jillo, representing the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), urged participants to transform information into actionable intelligence. Prisca Mutindi, representing the KRA, emphasized that the training's value lies in its application to strengthen the Authority’s ability to identify risks and manage emerging threats.

The initiative is part of a broader mandate by the NCIA to provide specialized, competency-based training to law enforcement and government institutions, aiming to improve inter-agency collaboration in crime prevention and investigation.
