Kenya to host Super 90 League in Nairobi starting 2026

Kenya will host the debut of the Super 90 League in Nairobi in November 2026. The fast-paced, 90-ball cricket competition has entered a three-season partnership with Cricket Kenya, which will see the fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons held in the Kenyan capital.

The fourth season will feature six franchise teams competing in 18 matches. A unique aspect of the Kenyan edition is that each franchise will include two retired Kenyan cricketers, providing them an opportunity to return to competitive play alongside international stars.

Following previous seasons in India and Sri Lanka, this expansion aims to establish Kenya as a long-term international destination for the league. The partnership is expected to boost sports tourism, hospitality, sponsorship, and local employment while strengthening Nairobi's position in the international sports calendar.
