Kenyan police launch investigations into multiple murder cases

Police in Kenya have opened murder investigations after several bodies were discovered in different locations. In Nairobi's Kariobangi Sports Ground, a 45‑year‑old man identified as Albert Wambugu was found with a stab wound to the thigh. The scene was processed by crime‑scene investigators and the body was taken to the City Mortuary for a post‑mortem.

In Kisii County, detectives recovered the naked body of 24‑year‑old Roy Ondimu Jared from the Nyakumisaro River near the Canaan area. A jacket and a plastic bottle were also found nearby. The body was moved to the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary. Both investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances and identify those responsible.
