Kenzie: Marie Malenko adopts new ring name in WWE NXT

Marie Malenko, the daughter of professional wrestling legend Dean Malenko, has reportedly received a new ring name within WWE NXT. Previously performing under the name Lacey Simon during her initial integration into the Performance Center, she will now compete simply as ‘Kenzie’.

Malenko is a third-generation wrestler, being the granddaughter of WWE Hall of Famer Boris Malenko. Before signing with WWE in March, she competed in Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH and for Marigold. Since joining the WWE rookie class in May, she has participated in several dark matches and live events, including matches against Zena Sterling, Myka Lockwood, and Kelani Jordan.

While her recent matches have taken place at NXT house shows, WWE has not yet announced an official date for her televised debut under the new moniker.
