Kenzo Craigie wins opening E4 race at Monza

Kenzo Craigie of R-ace GP secured victory in the first race of the E4 finale at Monza, extending his championship lead to 34 points over US Racing’s Luka Sammalisto. The race was heavily disrupted by three lengthy safety car periods, with over half of the racing laps completed under caution.

Craigie took the lead on the fifth lap by overtaking polesitter Ary Bansal at the Parabolica. He successfully defended his position against a late challenge from Iacopo Martinese, who climbed from ninth on the grid to finish second. Alex Ruta of Van Amersfoort Racing completed the podium after moving up from the fourth row.

Ary Bansal struggled throughout the race, dropping to eighth before a collision with teammate Ludovico Busso relegated him to the back of the field. Kingsley Zheng finished fourth, while Luka Sammalisto ended the race in ninth following a 10-second penalty.
