Keon Coleman shows potential for Buffalo Bills amid injury management
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman is finding his footing in his third season despite significant preseason scrutiny. Following a press conference where owner Terry Pegula addressed the pressure surrounding Coleman’s drafting, the receiver has shown flashes of potential through the first three weeks of the 2026 season.
Coleman has recorded eight catches for 101 yards so far. His performance includes a six-catch game against the Detroit Lions and a critical touchdown reception from Josh Allen in a victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Most recently, Coleman demonstrated his ability to make difficult adjustments during a game against the New England Patriots, securing key receptions that helped move the chains.
On the injury front, Coleman returned to practice as a limited participant following an ankle injury. The Bills are also managing various other injuries, including those to linebacker Joe Andreessen, defensive lineman T. J. Sanders, and receiver DJ Moore.
