Kepez Municipality hosts traditional circumcision festival for 500 children

Kepez Municipality held its traditional circumcision festival at Dokumapark, involving 500 children and their families. The event featured music, games, and various activities to create a festive atmosphere.

Following the celebration, medical procedures were conducted at the Municipality Health Center under the supervision of specialist doctors and health teams. To ensure hygiene and minimize wait times, the municipality utilizes an appointment system where families are contacted individually to schedule specific times.

As a gesture of recognition, each child received an ‘Üstün Cesaret Belgesi’ (Superior Courage Certificate) signed by Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz. The certificates commend the children for completing the process with bravery and success. Mayor Kocagöz emphasized that the health, happiness, and safety of the children remain the municipality's top priorities.
