Kepsut Organized Industrial Zone begins allocation process

The Kepsut Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) in Balıkesir, Turkey, has entered the preliminary allocation phase. Kepsut Mayor İsmail Cankul announced that the project has been assigned registration number 418 and will cover an initial area of 7,337,000 square meters.

The project is designed to expand to approximately 20 million square meters in the long term. To protect local agriculture, the site was selected on hilly terrain where no production currently occurs. The location offers strategic logistical advantages, situated near the Yeniköy highway connection, the Susurlık junction, and a railway loading station.

The establishment process, which involved 19 stages, was completed in approximately 1.5 years. The zone is expected to boost local production capacity, attract new investments from various sectors, and increase employment opportunities. Investors in the region will benefit from 4th region incentives, with some advantages reaching 5th region levels.
