Kerala BJP chief Rajiv Chandrasekhar condemns fabricated Malayalam media reports

On July 27, Rajiv Chandrasekhar, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala and state legislator, alleged that a segment of Malayalam‑language media was conducting a coordinated campaign to publish unfounded and fabricated stories against the party. He said the reports were “completely false and factually incorrect,” lacking verification and journalistic standards, and warned that the public would reject such misinformation.

Chandrasekhar, who was appointed to lead the Kerala BJP after a career largely based in Bengaluru, called for journalists to adhere to professional norms and emphasized the party’s commitment to development and public service in the state.
