Kerala Chief Minister announces file disposal mission and denies political rift

Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan has announced a special administrative mission, Janasparsham, to address a massive backlog of government files. Running from October 15 to December 31 on an experimental basis, the initiative aims to clear thousands of pending physical and electronic files across state departments. Satheesan noted that over 2.76 lakh e-files are currently pending and emphasized that the drive will also analyze systemic bottlenecks to prevent future delays.

Separately, Satheesan addressed rumors regarding a political rift between himself and AICC organizational general secretary KC Venugopal. Dismissing reports of tension following their previous rivalry for the state's top post, Satheesan stated they remain close friends who communicate almost daily. He characterized the competition for leadership as common within the party and noted that the Congress high command's decision to select him was based on recent electoral successes.
