Three men from Assam, identified as Saidul Haque, Masrul Islam, and Rasak Ali, have been arrested for conducting robberies on morning trains at the Aluva and Angamaly railway stations in Kerala.

Police recovered Rs 40,000 in cash, four mobile phones, and six sovereigns of gold from the suspects. According to Ernakulam Railway Sub Division DYSP George Joseph, the accused were allegedly involved in drug-related activities and intended to commit further robberies to fund the purchase of drugs in Assam. The suspects reportedly viewed train robberies as an efficient way to generate funds due to the high value of narcotics in Kerala.
