Kerala Twin Wedding Unites Twin Couples, Priests and Altar Boys

Twin brothers Akhil K Thomas and Nikhil K Thomas married twin sisters Magi Mary Thomas and Maria Mary Thomas at the Changanassery Metropolitan Church in Kerala. The ceremony was conducted by twin priests Fr Anto Pezhumkattil and Fr Ajo Pezhumkattil of the Kanjirappally Diocese, with twin altar boys Jeron James and Johon James assisting.

The families deliberately sought twin clergy to fulfill a childhood dream of having a wedding surrounded by twins. The grooms work in the Merchant Navy, while the brides are employed locally. The event was noted for its rarity and the symbolic message of family togetherness.
