Kerem Kazaz wins Cappadocia Rally to extend championship lead
Kerem Kazaz and co-driver Corentin Silvestre secured victory at the Cappadocia Rally, the fourth round of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2026 Türkiye Rally Championship. Kazaz finished approximately three minutes ahead of his competitors, extending his championship lead to 38 points. Following this success, the team is preparing for the FIA Junior WRC event in Chile.
Castrol Ford Team Türkiye achieved a double podium finish, with the duo of Ali Türkkan and Bilge Ayan taking second place in the general classification and winning the Class 3 category. The third-place position in the general classification went to Uğur Soylu and Mehmet Akif Yalçı of GP Garage My Team.
In the junior categories, Can Alakoç and Ivo Pükis finished second in the RC3 class and fourth overall in their first major outing. Kaan Sarıhan and Ersin Ören also placed third in the young pilots class.
