In an interview with TuttoJuve.com, Jankovic described Alajbegovic as a special player possessing a “factor X,” noting his confidence, dribbling skills, and ability to play effectively with both feet.

Jankovic expressed confidence in the player's rapid adaptation to Italian football and affirmed that joining Juventus was the correct decision due to the club's infrastructure and coaching. He suggested that Alajbegovic has the necessary characteristics to become a symbol of a winning Juventus side, provided he develops correctly and avoids injuries.

The former coach also touched upon the player's decision to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina, noting that he had previously been called up by the German national team before Jankovic presented the Bosnian project to the player's father.
