Kerim Alajbegovic ruled out of Bosnia vs Poland match

Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder Kerim Alajbegovic has been ruled out of the upcoming match against Poland due to a muscle injury. The 19-year-old Juventus player, who recently scored against Sweden, will return to Turin for treatment.

While Bosnia and Herzegovina coach Sergej Barbarez initially suggested the player's exit during the Sweden match was merely due to cramps, the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NFSBiH) confirmed a muscle injury. The decision to exclude him from the squad is described as a precautionary measure to manage his workload after playing four matches in eleven days.

Alajbegovic's absence represents a significant loss for the Bosnian side ahead of their Nations League fixture in Zenica. Bosnia and Herzegovina currently holds a five-point advantage over Poland in the standings.
