Kering Foundation hosts annual charity gala in New York
The Kering Foundation held its 5th annual ‘Caring for Women’ charity event at The Pool in Manhattan, New York. Hosted by Honorary President Salma Hayek and her husband, Kering CEO François-Henri Pinault, the gala aims to raise funds to combat gender-based violence worldwide.
The foundation, established in 2008, works with local organizations in countries including the U.S., U.K., Mexico, France, and South Korea. It has reportedly assisted over one million survivors through a network of 40,000 trained professionals.
The star-studded evening included attendees such as Dakota Johnson, Pamela Anderson, Simone Biles, Benicio Del Toro, and Rita Ora, with Paris Hilton performing as a DJ. To expand its reach, the foundation introduced an online silent auction open to the public, featuring luxury items such as a custom McQueen ensemble and a Saint Laurent trip to Paris. Last year’s event raised a record $4.5 million.
