Kermanshah Friday Prayer Leader Criticizes Potential Housing Official Change

Habibullah Ghafouri, the Friday Prayer Leader of Kermanshah, has expressed concern regarding the potential replacement of the provincial Director General of Roads and Urban Development. During his recent sermons, Ghafouri highlighted a successful National Housing Movement project in the province, describing it as a national model of engineering creativity and excellence that has maintained continuous activity even during wartime.

Ghafouri noted that following pressure from certain members of parliament, the current director is reportedly being reassigned to another province. While stating he does not interfere in appointments, Ghafouri argued that replacing a manager who has achieved such high-profile success warrants serious reflection. He further criticized the interference of parliamentarians in administrative appointments, suggesting that provincial interests should not be sacrificed for personal or familial gains.
