Iranian officials mark Government and Unity Weeks across provinces

Various Iranian officials and regional leaders are holding meetings and ceremonies to commemorate Government Week and Unity Week.

In Kermanshah, Governor Manouchehr Habibi emphasized that regional unity and social cohesion are vital assets for overcoming economic pressures and recent crises. He also met with Mamousta Molla Ghaderi, the Friday Imam of Paveh, noting that religious leadership support is a key driver for development in the Orumant region. Separately, sports officials in Kermanshah reported progress on upgrading the Azadi Stadium, noting that while several projects are complete, a 10 billion toman project to separate locker rooms is still pending due to budget constraints.

In Golestan, senior border guard and police commanders met with the provincial governor to discuss security and organizational goals. Meanwhile, in Kanarak, local managers held ceremonies to honor martyrs as part of the commemorative week.

Additionally, a message attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei was released calling for unity among Gulf Cooperation Council nations against a common enemy, a move that has drawn criticism from local opposition figures.
