Kerry Group plans €300 million share buyback amid volume growth

Kerry Group has announced plans to launch a share buyback programme of up to €300 million in ordinary shares following the completion of its current programme. Despite a 0.6 percent decline in revenue for the first nine months of fiscal 2026 due to negative pricing, currency, and portfolio impacts, the company reported a 3.6 percent increase in business volumes during the same period.

Third-quarter volume growth accelerated to 4.1 percent, with regional performance led by the APMEA region at 5.7 percent, the Americas at 4.6 percent, and Europe at 1.3 percent. Key growth drivers included the snacks, meat, dairy, and beverage markets, as well as a 5 percent volume increase in the foodservice sector.

The company maintained its full-year constant currency adjusted earnings per share (EPS) guidance of 6 percent to 10 percent growth. Additionally, Kerry reported a 50-basis-point expansion in its EBITDA margin, attributed largely to its Accelerate 2.0 cost and efficiency programme.
